Make the college admissions process a breeze with expert support at every step.
I work directly with students and families to plan high school courses, explore majors, create balanced college lists, and craft compelling applications so that you never have to navigate this process alone.Â
Who I Work With
College counseling with me is designed for families who want clarity, structure, and steady support, not a DIY checklist or a guessing game.
I work with:
-
Freshmen & Sophomores who want to build the right foundation: high school class selection, activities, summer planning, and early major exploration
-
Juniors who are ready to get organized, build a balanced college list, and create a smart testing and application strategy
-
Seniors who need last-minute, hands-on help staying on track with essays, deadlines, applications, scholarships, and decisions
Whether your student is highly motivated or needs more accountability, I meet them exactly where they are and guide them forward.
What Makes Working with Me Different
Most families feel overwhelmed because they’re piecing together advice from school counselors, friends, Reddit, and TikTok. With me, you get one dedicated expert who walks with your family step-by-step—start to finish.
What sets my approach apart:
âś” Continuous, hands-on support
This isn’t a “plan and disappear” service. I’m involved in every phase of the process, answering questions, setting next steps, reviewing materials, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
âś” A strategy built around your student
No two kids are the same. I tailor everything—courses, clubs, majors, essay angles, college lists—to your student’s strengths, personality, and goals.
âś” A calm, structured process
We always know what’s coming next. You get shared trackers, timelines, checklists, and clear meeting agendas so your student stays organized and confident.
✔ Protection for the parent–teen relationship
You don’t have to be the nagging project manager. I take that pressure off your plate so you can be the supportive parent, not the enforcer, all while maintaining an aunt-like rapport with my students.
âś” Expertise across testing, essays, admissions strategy, and scholarships
Few counselors can support every piece of the process at a high level. I can, and I do.
What We’ll Work On Together
Depending on your student’s grade and needs, our work may include:
Applications, Essays, and Supplements
College List Development
Academic + Testing Strategy
Extracurricular + Summer Planning
Career + Major Exploration
Financial Fit + Scholarship Strategy
Navigating Decisions + Scholarships
How Sessions Work
Format:
One-on-one sessions via Zoom (typically 60-90 minutes but short sessions of 15 or 30 minutes are also available)
Availability:
Weekdays between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm CST to accommodate school schedules and different time zones
Communication:
Students meet with me directly, and parents receive periodic updates to stay aligned without micromanaging
Materials Provided:
Custom trackers, shared planning documents, spreadsheets, timelines, essay notes, and any tools your family needs to stay organized
Pace:
You’re welcome to schedule meetings whenever you need support or have questions, and I’m highly accessible between sessions; families can always text or email during my working hours, and I’ll reply as soon as I’m available.
At the same time, I don’t leave the pacing entirely on your shoulders. I proactively reach out at key points in the admissions timeline to let you know what your student should be focusing on, what tasks are coming next, and when we should meet to stay on track. This ensures steady progress without the stress of figuring out the timeline on your own.
Are we too late??
When to Start...
You can begin at any point in high school, but here’s what I recommend:
-
9th & 10th grade: early planning, exploration, and building the right foundation of extracurriculars & relevant coursework
-
11th grade: optimal time for list-building, testing strategy, resume creation, rec letter strategizing, and essay groundwork
-
Summer after 11th grade: focused support to complete applications, manage deadlines, and maximize scholarship opportunities
- 12th grade: Catch-up time if you haven't started already. We'll work quickly to perfect essays and supplementals and submit applications on time.
It’s never too early to build confidence and never too late to get the support you need.
